Pueblo Pottery

This pieces were a lot of fun. Under the guidance of Clarence Cruz, we dug out our own clay, cleaned it and prepared it for hand building our pots, stonepolished them, decorated them, and finally fired them outside in an iron box. The pots and decorations were all done (except of the turtle) in the traditional pueblo way. Since it is a very low firing this pots are mainly for decoration purpose or used for dry food (crackers, nuts,...).
